Supporting Bright Star Kindergarten and Primary School in Gomba, Uganda
Bright Star Kindergarten and Primary School is a community-based school in Gomba District, Uganda, founded in 2017 with a simple but important mission: to provide children from poor and vulnerable families with access to education and a chance for a better future.
The school was founded by Ssanyu Robinah, a respected community elder whose love for children and commitment to helping families has made her an important part of the local community. Through her dedication, Bright Star has become a place where children can learn, grow, and build hope for the future.
However, the school continues to face challenges because of limited financial resources and basic facilities. More support is needed to provide learning materials, improve classrooms and furniture, and create a safe and supportive environment where children can learn, play, and develop their potential.
