Best Time to Take This Safari

The safari can be enjoyed throughout the year. The drier months are generally preferred for gorilla trekking and wildlife viewing, while the wetter seasons bring lush scenery and excellent conditions for photography and birdwatching.

For the Great Migration, travel timing is important, particularly if witnessing the major wildebeest movements in the Masai Mara is a priority.

Gorilla permits are limited, so early booking is strongly recommended.
