Arrive in Kigali or meet your guide at your hotel. After a short briefing, drive north to Volcanoes National Park, passing through Rwanda’s beautiful rolling hills and countryside.
Arrive in the afternoon and check into your lodge. Relax and prepare for tomorrow’s gorilla trekking adventure.

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing.
Begin your trek into the forest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. The trek can take several hours depending on where the gorillas are located.
Once you find them, enjoy a memorable encounter as you watch them feed, play, rest, and interact in their natural environment.
After the trek, return to your lodge to relax and enjoy your evening.

Enjoy breakfast before beginning your journey back to Kigali.
Depending on your flight time, you may have time for a short city tour, local shopping, or a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial.
